We renovate homes the way we would want ours renovated
Nature Home Zone is a small, hands-on renovation studio in Medford, Oregon. We plan carefully, build tidily and treat every house as if our own family were moving into it.
Built on a simple frustration
Most homeowners we meet have the same story. The drawings looked wonderful. The quote was vague. The work was split across trades who never spoke to each other, and the family ended up project-managing their own renovation from the kitchen table.
Nature Home Zone exists to close that gap. We keep design, project management and the trades under one roof, so there is a single plan, a single schedule and a single person who answers the phone. If something has to change mid-build, you hear it from us first, with options and prices attached.
And because we live here too, we build for this climate — damp winters, dry summers, and homes that need to breathe properly in both.
Nature-first finishes
Values we will not trade away
These are the promises that shape every project we take on, whether it is a single bathroom or a whole-house upgrade.
Natural by default
We choose timber, stone, wool and low-VOC finishes first, and only reach for synthetic options when performance demands it.
Plain-language honesty
Quotes are itemised, allowances are explained and problems are raised early. You should never have to decode a contractor.
Craft over speed
We would rather do the waterproofing and flashing properly than hand back a bright room with a hidden problem.
Tidy sites, quiet crews
Floors are protected, dust is contained and the site is swept before we leave. You still have to live there while we work.
Safety is not optional
Permits, inspections, fire safety and structural decisions are handled with the seriousness they deserve.
Here after handover
Warranty questions get answered, care advice gets given and small adjustments get sorted without a fuss.
A whole-house view, one room at a time
Houses work as systems. A new roof changes how the attic ventilates; better windows change how the heating behaves; a bathroom remodel is only as good as the waterproofing behind the tile. Because we cover interiors, exteriors, roofing, solar and safety together, we can spot those connections before they become expensive.
You do not have to renovate everything at once. We are just as happy planning a phased upgrade you can grow into, with each stage designed to sit properly beside the next.
Site assessment
Structure, moisture, light and services checked before design begins.
Material selection
Samples in your own light, so nothing is chosen from a screen.
